TRE: How it can decrease physical stress

What is trauma release experience (Or TRE) ? 

Invented by David Berceli, the TRE® method is a simple, deep and effective technique for reducing chronic tension accumulated in the body. These tensions may have arisen as a result of trauma, (physical or moral) repeated stress. The principle is to trigger the natural mechanism of \”neurogenic\” tremors (natural tremors aimed at restoring balance within our organism (observable in animals and often socially repressed in man), thanks to a series of simple exercises accessible to all. This technique is used in particular to treat post-traumatic stress syndrome. It was therefore initially aimed at people who are victims of natural disasters, armed conflicts or physical violence, as well as people facing situations of extreme stress (soldiers, police officers, firefighters, caregivers, etc.)

One of the key components of TRE is the use of tremors, which are involuntary muscle movements that occur when the body is under stress or in a state of arousal. These tremors can be triggered by physical exercises or by simply allowing the body to relax and let go. As the tremors pass through the body, they can help release tension and stress that may be stored in the muscles and tissues.

Who should practice TRE ?
